Our 16,000 square foot facility offers you and your family a safe, sensible alternative to hospitalization whenever you need same day surgery. Same day surgery now accounts for more than 75% of all surgeries. Thanks to advances in technology and anesthesia, even surgeries that just a few years ago required hospitalization can now be handled safely in an outpatient surgery center.

Our center was a vision of several local, established physicians who had a vision of developing a specialty-focused facility. Mount Carmel was pleased to partner with these surgeons in a joint-ventured ambulatory surgery center located in a new medical office building on property adjacent to the Mount Carmel New Albany campus.
